What You
     Can Do

What You Can Do

There are many ways you can help improve the situation for animals in Ontario's roadside zoos.

  • Do not visit roadside zoos or animal displays
  • If you decide to visit a roadside zoo to see the conditions firsthand, take photographs and/or video and make notes
  • If you recently visited a zoo and have concerns about an animal that is suffering, please file a complaint with your local SPCA office. You can find a directory for the different Ontario SPCA branches at: www.ospca.on.ca/wwa_baa_bran.html or by phoning them at: 1-888-ONT-SPCA.
  • Write a letter to the Ontario government
  • Organize your community
